are excited to host the 2018 Yonex Canadian Masters Badminton Championships:

April 23 – 28, 2018 in Vancouver, B.C.

Entry deadline is March 21, 2018, but there will be a limit to the number of entries accepted.

Badminton is the second most popular sport in the world, second only to soccer.

Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the word, a shuttle can reach speeds in excess of 490 km/hr

Badminton is a highly aerobic sport which can be played throughout one's lifetime.

In a typical two-game match, a player can run approximately one mile.

There are two types of shuttles: plastic and feather which are made with goose feathers. A feather shuttle has 16 feathers and weighs between 4.74 and 5.50 grams.
