Badminton NL is offering NCCP Competition Introduction Modules 1,2,3 on the weekend November 22-24, 2019 at Leary’s Brook Junior High, St. John’s.

This training is recommended for club level coaches or Physical Education teachers who have never done NCCP for badminton, and anyone who hasn’t done the new NCCP Comp Intro training, or hasn’t done Module 3 Technical/Tactical within the past 3 years.

and anyone who hasn’t done the new NCCP Comp Intro training, or hasn’t done Module 3 Technical/Tactical within the past 3 years.

Modules 1 and 2 will be presented in the classroom on the Friday night and Sunday morning, and will cover Making Ethical Decisions, Teaching and Learning, Planning a Practice, Nutrition and Basic Mental Skills.

Module 3 is Technical/Tactical (Badminton) and will be conducted in the gymnasium on the Saturday.

The three modules, once completed, give the participant the status of Comp Intro – Regional (Trained).

An evaluation in the participants home club/school at a later date will upgrade the participant’s status to Comp Intro – Regional (Certified).

No charge for the evaluation required for certification.
